Dr. Richard Asks some important questions of interest to Tucson residents - Chiropractor Tucson Dr. Richard Asks...

How could a child benefit from chiropractic?
Regardless of our age, each of us in Tucson encounters physical, chemical and emotional stresses that exceed our ability to handle. For newborns, it could be the trauma encountered at birth. For toddlers it could be from learning to walk or ride a bike. Many of the problems we chiropractors see in adults are the result of neglected traumas from childhood.
What is the significance of "growing pains?"
Chiropractors know that aches or pains at any age mean something's not right. In fact, many children go through stages of growth without aches or pains. So while "growing pains" may be common, they're not normal. That's why our Tucson chiropractic practice sees lots of children. A chiropractic checkup for your child can often help detect and correct problems that are more difficult to correct in Tucson adults.

What to Expect

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home.

On your first visit I will take the time to listen to your concerns. After taking a health history, you will have a thorough chiropractic and postural exam. Bring shorts and a tee shirt with you for your digital posture print and muscle balance tests. X-rays will be taken if applicable and you will be set up for your second visit after I have a chance to study all test results.

On your second visit I will show you all the test results and x-rays if any were taken. I will explain what is wrong, your options for care, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

Dr. Casabona will review what he has found and how he can help,

Most patients exercise in the office prior to their treatment to warm up your muscles before care. this allows for a better treatment. After exercising I will evaluate your spine and posture and treat accordingly. Immediately afterwards you will do some form of decompression traction or posture correction traction to attempt to mold your spine and posture to as near to normal as possible.
